My saturday

I woke up with a temperature of 99.9, took some medicine and headed to the church to meet the girls. We waited a half an hour to see if anyone else would show up, but it ended up only being me and tatiana. So we traveled the hour and twenty minutes to get there. I ended up only doing confirmations, cause i didnt want to do the baptisms while sick. The people were really nice to tatina since it was her first time! we ended up doing it with a ward from manhattan. The temple is so different from the portland temple. It was cool to be able to go and see it though!! i took some pictures of the outside!!




And then after six long hours of traveling to and from and doing the stuff at the temple I got a present from my dad!! It was so sweet of him! It was a get well present since Ive been weirdly getting sick a lot this semester. It reminds me of what he used to do when we were little. In elementary school, me and my sister would get called down to the office and there would be flowers there waiting for us from dad! I'll never forget that! I think the last time he did it was randomly on the last day of Junior year of high school! which just happened to be me favorite year of high school! that time he got me a flower and a huge teddy bear! I love teddy bears! This time he got me a fruit basket! which is awesome!! And my first one ever! lol!! It came with oranges, tangerines, red and green apples, purple grapes and a lot of randomly wierd turkish candies all taped in a basket hand delivered to my dorm!! Isnt that awesome!! I was very suprised and happy! it was really awesome!! Thanks dad!! heres a picture of it, well i got excited and ripped it apart so heres the after pic! i didnt think of taking a before pic! i took it apart too fast!

I made a collage today

I had to make a collage for graphic design class. we had to interview one other person in the class, pic ten pictures that represent them and then make a collage. This is what I came up with!

So today I ventured down to the world trade center! and to my suprise they have actually made some progress on it!! take a look at a few of the pics I took on my phone!! They had a lot of it blocked off so I couldnt get a great view. Its ganna look really pretty once its done!!

VALENTINES DAY

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!
Today I got up ran three miles and then showered and I've spent the whole day watching tv on my laptop! i've watched burn notice, greys anatomy, private practice, er, privileged, and Friday Night lights! I did a little bit of homework too!
I hope you all had a much more exciting valentines day than I did!! i have to say mine was relaxing though!

A lot of things inspire me! seeing some one do something for someone else always inspires me to be better and want to help out more!!

That's a hard one! the beach is really nice, except i don't like being in my bathing suit and I don't like sand! the city is fun but expensive, and the country can be really nice, but i don't like bugs.

ummm i like strips of chicken, with lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, a touch of ranch and then scrunch in some Doritos on a whole wheat bun!!! thats YUMMY!

NEW THING I DISCOVERED TODAY!! I HEART DUNKIN DONUTS HOT CHOCOLATE!!! its sooo yummy!! it tastes like a chocolate frosted donut! its amazing!!! LOVE IT!!!

semester

So the semester has started and im all settled into my classes! I have color theory, Graphic designs 2, printmaking, history of contemporary art and my internship! Today was my first day at Men's Health! it was a little boring cause they were just finishing up Aprils issue so there was not much for me to do! but i can tell its ganna be a lot of fun! There arent very many girls working on the magazine! it such a differetn dynamic than prevention! i like it much better!!
Im still working on my byu application, its taking forever!!
My room is a mess but i dont have the energy to clean it!
Ive been trying to work out consistently, its one of my young women value projects that i never finished. So im doing it! Im going to try and work on getting my personal progress finished but im not sure if ill have time!
Well thats all for now! i just got kicked out of the lab so im chilling in my room about to watch burn notice! cause im to tired to do anything else!
